Help Duties * You will secure carriers to arrange for pickup and delivery of freight shipments and identify the mode or combination of modes, types of special equipment, and services required for shipment. * You will extract and assemble data and resolve discrepancies in transportation documents. * You will advise customers of inadequacies or inaccuracies in shipping requests and related documentation. * You will perform research to determine proper mode for shipment. * You will prepare recurring and special reports and compile statistics. * You will process reports for discrepancies and coordinate with shippers in resolving discrepancies by providing advice and guidance. * You will generate letters, reports, tabulated material, memoranda, and other related documentation. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing support with transportation of material, supplies, equipment, vehicles, or parts in accordance with Federal regulations, methods and practices. GS-05: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-04) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: assisting with transportation services in connection with processing property shipment/storage entitlements.
