Certifications: ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)
Must-Have:
- Ability to perform complete adult transthoracic echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms.
- Ability to provide portable echocardiograms in patient rooms.
- Experience building structured reports for physician review.
Job Description:
- Unit Information: Diagnostic Testing Center on the 1st floor
- General Information:
- Number of Beds: 220
- Number of Staff: 4 Full-time, 3 PRN
- Type of Staff:
- Day Shift: 3 techs per shift
- Night Shift: Call
- Equipment: GE Vivid E9
- EMR: Meditech
- Preferred Skills:
- Experience administering ultrasound contrast (e.g., Definity and agitated saline)
- Operating ultrasound equipment for the physician during transesophageal echocardiograms
- Typical Procedures:
- Adult transthoracic echocardiograms
- Stress echocardiograms
- Transesophageal echocardiograms
- Best Personality Fit: Self-motivated, independent worker who thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Dress Code: Medical scrubs
- Weekends and On Call: Required
