Job Title: Echo Tech
Job Specialty: Echocardiography
Job Duration: 13-week assignment
Shift: 09:00-17:30, variable weekend rotation with on-call requirements
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Experience: Minimum of 2 years
License: Registered RDCS or RCS
Certifications: Required
Must-Have: TEE, 3D Imaging, TTE, Colorflow Doppler, TEEs for Open Heart
Job Description:
- Perform echocardiography procedures, including TEE and 3D imaging, following established protocols.
- Utilize Philips EpiQ equipment for echocardiography.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in the EPIC electronic medical record system.
- Collaborate with the cardiac services team to ensure quality patient care.
- Deliver echocardiography services to both adult and pediatric patients.
- Exhibit self-motivation and teamwork skills while being a strong patient advocate.
- Adhere to dress code with grey scrubs as per policy.
- Participate in training and orientation sessions to stay updated with procedures and protocols.
- Engage in a variable weekend rotation with call duties, ensuring adaptability in scheduling.
