Job Title: Physical Therapist
Job Specialty: Therapy
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 07:00 - 17:00
Guaranteed Hours:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years
License: Must be actively licensed in Kansas prior to submission
Certifications: BLS preferred
Must-Have:
- Current PT licensure
- Experience in an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting
- Knowledge of ESTIM, patient lifts, transfer equipment, gym equipment, and vital machines
- Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically Meditech Magic
Job Description:
- Work in an inpatient rehabilitation facility with a 41-bed capacity.
- Be part of a therapy team comprising 15-20 staff across disciplines (PT, OT, SLP).
- Manage a treatment load of up to 6 hours within an 8-hour shift.
- Perform evaluations and treatments, including gait training, neuromuscular reeducation, and caregiver training.
- Ensure patients meet a three-hour therapy requirement in inpatient rehab and accurately track time/charges.
- Collaborate as a team player with flexible hours for treatment start/stop times and work on rotating weekends.
- Engage in hands-on clinical treatments.
- Enjoy working in a brand-new facility with state-of-the-art technology, including a vector unweighted system and a fully equipped IADL kitchen.
