AIG Capital Planning is part of AIG Treasury within the Finance division of AIG. The AIG Capital Planning team is responsible for AIG's capital management framework, including policies, guidelines, development of the annual capital plan, recovery and contingency planning and the regular assessment of capital adequacy, under many different lenses - rating agency, regulatory and economic.

The candidate will become an integral member of a dynamic team involved in the analysis and assessment of AIG's capital resources, in support of AIG's strategic objectives and business plans. This role requires direct interaction with personnel across AIG's global businesses and corporate functions. As part of a global function, team members are provided with the opportunity to garner an in-depth understanding of AIG's business and to build expertise in areas of Treasury, Capital Management, Finance and Risk.

Responsibilities include:
  • Responsible for rating agency capital model analytics, in support of external as well as internal capital assessment
  • Support firm-wide economic capital measurements, and participant in the development of AIG's capital and liquidity framework
  • Participate in regulatory Group Capital Calculation
  • Responsible for regular capital assessments, aligned to business plans and management's strategic objectives
  • Execute corporate projects of a strategic and financial nature, for Finance, Risk and Treasury management
  • Support pro forma capital analytics to support organic and inorganic growth opportunities

Position Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Undergraduate degree required. Finance, economics major preferred. Master's degree in finance/quantitative field is a plus
  • 4 + years of experience in Finance, Treasury, Risk Management or a related field, preferably with in a financial firm with demonstrated knowledge in corporate finance & investments
  • Analytical, quick learner, and flexible team player
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure and tight deadlines while retaining strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrate professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Technical skills with advanced knowledge of MS Excel and MS Powerpoint.
  • Experience with economic and rating agency models, a plus


The base salary range for this position is $83,200-$104,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan. In addition, we're proud to offer a range of competitive benefits, a summary of which can be viewed here: US Benefits Overview.
