POSITION SUMMARY

We're looking for a relationship-driven professional to join our team as a Treasury Management Officer in our Austin offices. This in-person role plays a vital part in Horizon's collaborative, customer-focused approach. As a key partner to our Lending teams and customers, you'll build meaningful connections, uncover opportunities, and help businesses thrive by delivering strategic treasury solutions.

WHAT WILL I DO?

Key Responsibilities:
  • Champion collaboration across Horizon's teams-partnering with Lending, Deposit Operations, and other internal stakeholders to onboard new relationships smoothly and deliver an outstanding customer experience from day one.
  • Act as a strategic partner to existing customers-deepening relationships, uncovering cross-sell opportunities, and helping customers get the most out of Horizon's Treasury solutions.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer in internal discussions, helping shape the evolution of Treasury Management products and services by providing real-world feedback and insights.
  • Drive Treasury Management growth by identifying and closing new opportunities with both current and prospective customers.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our customers' industries, goals, and challenges-using that insight to craft tailored solutions and thoughtful proposals.
  • Present compelling value-based proposals that clearly articulate how our Treasury services support a customer's financial strategy and business growth.
  • Expand your network and build new customer relationships through active community involvement, participation in industry groups, and meaningful engagement in the market.
  • Contribute thought leadership by sharing best practices, identifying trends, and bringing forward fresh ideas to elevate the customer experience and the Treasury function.
  • Pitch in where needed-we're a team-first organization, and success means rolling up your sleeves and stepping in to help where your strengths are needed.
  • Other duties as assigned and/or taken on.


AM I THE RIGHT FIT?

We are searching for professionals who have had proven success in their past careers, are self-motivated, and have a great attitude to join our team.

Specific requirements include:
  • Minimum: Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of banking experience; or the equivalent combination of education and experience, which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job duties of this position.
  • Proven ability to contribute immediately to business development strategies and drive growth initiatives.
  • Positive, self-motivated, and team-oriented with a collaborative and proactive approach.
  • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to lead change, support company growth, and embrace opportunities for personal and professional development.


Desired qualifications:
  • 8+ years of direct industry experience at a $2B+ bank.
  • 4+ years in a treasury, cash management, or business development role.
  • CTP certification is a plus.
