Overview

This position's responsibilities include manage liquidity and funding positions within Treasury Function. In particular, the AVP will closely monitor market condition and coordinate USD and FX liquidity and funding activities, including intraday liquidity monitoring, Contingent Funding Plan (CFP), cash flow projections, and related regulatory and management requirements.

Responsibilities

Include but are not limited to:

Liquidity Monitoring and Oversight
  • Monitor the Intraday Liquidity Management and coordinate with related departments
  • Oversee the day to day management operation on USD accounts and conduct Fed balance projection
  • Manage the short-term and long-term cash flow projection operation
  • Support FX and Nostro accounts monitoring based on business needs and management requirements

Funding Planning and Coordination
  • Coordinate the Funding Plan and optimize funding portfolio for liquidity and cost efficiency
  • Maintain and enhance the Contingency Funding Plan and coordinate the CFP testing
  • Monitor the EWI Suite based on market condition including funding countermeasures and escalation preparation
  • Optimize High Quality Liquid Asset (HQLA) portfolio and collateral usage
  • Coordinate funding initiatives such as Bond Issuance and provide related supports

Regulatory/Audit Exams, Reports and Backup
  • Address the requests from the regulator/auditor/independent risk management
  • Support backup coverage across Treasury functions
  • Other related requests from ALCO, Executive Management and Head Office


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree is required, Master's Degree is preferred
  • Minimum of 4 years of banking/corporate finance related experience for AVP; Minimum of 1 year of banking/corporate finance related experience for Associate
  • Solid understanding of Treasury operations, liquidity risk, and funding strategies
  • Strong IT and analytical skills, with proficiency in office and financial systems
  • Proven team player with excellent communication and collaboration abilities


Pay Range

Actual salary is commensurate with candidate's relevant years of experience, skillset, education and other qualifications.

USD $42,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr.
