Position Overview: The Treatment Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the clinical treatment planning for all youth within the cottage(s) to which they are assigned. The Treatment Coordinator chairs weekly treatment planning meeting(s) utilizing the Trauma Systems Therapy (TST) model. The Treatment Coordinator leads the TST team, which consists of clinical and direct care staff, in a weekly discussion, using TST assessment measures, to determine what the needs and treatment strategies of the youth and family are at a given time.
Position Qualifications:
NY State Psychology License Required.
Preferred experience includes: Training and experience in conducting family therapy; Training and experience in conducting individual therapy with children and adolescents utilizing play therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy, and cognitive behavioral approaches; facilitating multi-disciplinary team meetings; Conducting standardized assessments and clinical interviewing. Must be articulate and possess excellent writing skills.
