RATE OF PAY: $130,381.00 - $144,008.00 (24-25 salary schedule)

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Valid Washington Administrative Credential (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
  • Master's degree in School Administration, Education, or related field
  • Successful experience as a classroom teacher and building administrator preferred
  • Criminal justice fingerprint clearance

Contract : Based upon 240 days, including vacation and benefits, and with a current salary range of $130,381 to $144,008 (24-25 Salary Schedule)

Creating a Culture
  • Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive school culture focused on student learning and well-being.
  • Support systems for social-emotional learning, attendance, and behavior that promote a sense of belonging.
  • Model ethical behavior and culturally responsive practices in all interactions.

Ensuring School Safety
  • Implement and monitor building safety procedures, emergency protocols, and discipline systems.
  • Lead or support student behavior interventions using restorative practices and data-driven strategies.
  • Collaborate with counselors, families, and outside agencies to address safety and wellness concerns.

Planning with Data
  • Analyze school-level data (attendance, academic, behavior) to support school improvement planning.
  • Assist in monitoring school goals and intervention systems for student academic success.
  • Collaborate with the principal and staff to evaluate program effectiveness.

Aligning Curriculum
  • Support curriculum alignment with state standards across grade levels and departments.
  • Work with teachers to ensure access to rigorous and culturally relevant instruction for all students.
  • Assist in implementing curriculum adoption and fidelity of instructional practices.

Improving Instruction
  • Participate in classroom observations and provide feedback through the TPEP process.
  • Assist in coaching staff to improve instructional practices and student outcomes.
  • Promote a growth mindset among staff through goal setting and professional development.

Managing Resources
  • Support the day-to-day operation of the school including supervision of classified and certificated staff.
  • Assist in scheduling, resource allocation, and assessment administration.
  • Ensure effective use of time, space, and materials aligned to learning goals.

Engaging Communities
  • Maintain open, proactive communication with families and community partners.
  • Promote family engagement through events, outreach, and culturally responsive communication.
  • Represent the school at meetings, events, and district-level committees as needed.

Closing the Gap
  • Use data to identify and address opportunity and achievement gaps.
  • Advocate for equitable supports for underserved students including English learners, students with IEPs, and students experiencing poverty.
  • Promote inclusive practices and eliminate barriers to student success.
