I need to hire a replacement for an existing UCC engineer / specialist position. Looking for someone with strong Creston and Teams Room systems experience. They should have AV integration and light construction experience as they will need to deploy and maintain AV tech (e.g., room conference systems) and will need to work and guide VARs. They will also be working with networking team in a support role.
Some of the core Responsibilities:
* Design and support conference room AV and collaboration solutions.
* Manage network configuration and monitoring, including credentials and certificates-ownership must remain internal, not with vendors.
* Lead automation and rigorous testing processes; in-depth knowledge of Crestron required to avoid inconsistent third-party implementations (e.g., 7th floor cafe case).
* Provide after-hours support for urgent repairs-issues must be addressed promptly without relying on overnight vendor scheduling.
* Support live webinars and virtual events.
* Integrate UCC systems with workplace tools such as Condeco and Wisp.
* Collaborate closely with the Service Desk and Facilities teams to drive continuous improvement.
* They need to be corporate professional.
* They will need to work out of our Stamford office.
* Occasional travel will be required (maybe 4 -6 times a quarter) to our branch offices.
