This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure our digital products are visually appealing and provide an exceptional user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas.
- Collaborate with UX designers, developers, and stakeholders to implement design solutions.
- Ensure designs adhere to brand guidelines and accessibility standards.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and improve designs.
- Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies.
- Present design concepts and iterate based on feedback from team members and clients.
Technical Requirements:
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Sketch, Figma, or similar.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and frameworks.
- Familiarity with design systems and component libraries.
- Ability to create interactive prototypes using tools like InVision, Axure, or similar.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., Section 508 and WCAG) and best practices.
- Experience with Oracle Database and Microsoft SQL Server.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in UI design or a similar role.
- Demonstrated experience designing for web and mobile platforms.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and your design process.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
