UI/UX Designer
  • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers.
  • Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.
  • Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets
  • Build page navigation buttons and search fields.
  • Suggest and design interactive components.
  • Provide visualization expertise.
  • Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
  • Create original graphic designs (e.g., images, sketches, and tables)
  • Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.
  • Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, and images.
  • Assure section 508 compliance.
  • Collaborate with 508 for EPLC related activities.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a UI/UX Developer or Web Developer.
  • Complete knowledge of programming languages like CSS, C++, and Javascript.
  • Familiarity with content management systems like WordPress, Joomla, and Magento.
  • Knowledge of website aseptic practices and UI/UX designs.
  • Full-stack experience in developing applications and software.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and under pressure.
  • Excellent multitasking and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Up-to-date with the latest UI technologies and practice.
  • Understanding of design programs like Adobe Photoshop, and Affinity Designer.

This position will work remotely but will need to go onsite to our government client's location for meetings as needed.
