Compliance and Project Management Duties:
- Ensure Regulatory Adherence : Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards. Aid in form creation and leading filing activities.
- Internal quality reviews : Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to ensure underwriting strategies are adhered to.
- Underwriting Tool Supervision : Work with internal stakeholders and liaise with other practice areas to develop, maintain, and improve, various underwriting tools.
- Project Management : Drive completion of underwriting projects. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Resource Allocation : Allocate resources effectively to ensure project milestones are met.
- Timeline Management : Develop and manage project timelines, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Stakeholder Communication : Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback.
- Risk Management : Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Performance Tracking : Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Underwriting : This position will also handle some accounts. Service brokers and clients to meet or exceed their expectations including maintaining excellent relationships, communicating our value proposition and participating in client meetings as needed
- Minimum of 10 years of underwriting experience
- Proven experience in compliance management and project management.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Must possess effective interpersonal skills with solid ability to build and manage relationships within our enterprise.
- In-depth knowledge of insurance coverage, products, rating and pricing techniques, including guaranteed cost and loss sensitive.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Solid computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office products.
Education Requirement
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent training
