Responsibilities/Duties:
GRANDE PRAIRIE REGIONAL HOSPITAL - UROLOGY: Alberta Health Services - North Zone, Grande Prairie is seeking a urologist, with training and expertise including but not limited to; laparoscopy, ureteroscopy and flexible cystoscopy procedures.
The new Urologist will have Alberta Health Services hospital & surgical privileges at the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital.
The position will include regular hospital and after-hours on call.
Duties include but not limited to:
Reside in and have as his/her primary residence, Grande Prairie
Establish and maintain a full time community based practice within the community
Provide hospital and hospital on call assistance
Contribute to and participate in teaching programs and activities
Contribute to and participate in other administrative duties as assigned.
The successful candidate may choose to join an existing community based practice; or establish a new practice within the community.

Educational Requirements:
- Registration with the Royal College of Canada is desired
- Registration with the CPSA or proof of Eligibility for Alberta Licensure (required with application).
- Preference will be given to applicants who do not require or have completed the CPSA Preliminary Clinical Assessment.
