Position Details
- Reports to: Executive Vice President, Human Resources
- Location: Corporate headquarters in Columbus, Ohio with travel to plant locations as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
- Lead the development and execution of talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent across all levels of the organization.
- Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, selection, and onboarding of new employees.
- Implement employer branding initiatives to enhance the company's reputation as an employer of choice.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies, educational institutions, and other talent sources.
- Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics to continuously improve the effectiveness of hiring processes.
HR Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to promote a compliant and ethical workplace.
- Conduct regular audits of HR practices to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
- Serve as a point of contact for compliance-related inquiries and issues.
- Provide training and guidance to managers and employees on HR compliance matters.
HRIS & Payroll
- Oversee the HRIS and payroll functions, ensuring data accuracy, security, and system optimization.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance system functionality and reporting.
Employee Relations
- Provide guidance on employee relations issues, promoting a culture of fairness and respect.
- Act as an escalation point for complex employee relations matters.
- Ensure consistent application of company policies and procedures.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and alignment between corporate and plant HR teams.
Leadership & Strategic Initiatives
- Lead, mentor, and develop the HR Operations team.
- Collaborate with HR leadership on strategic initiatives, including workforce planning, engagement, and retention strategies.
- Monitor HR performance metrics and use data to inform decision-making and drive results.
- Lead HR technology upgrades and integrations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance HR processes and employee experience.
- This position may be required to support at a plant site in the absence/vacancy of plant HR.
- Lead and guide special projects, as identified and assigned, establish success metrics (in partnership with stakeholders) and reporting cadences. Own status and risk-related communications to project teams and stakeholders such as vendors, candidates, associates, recruiters, hiring managers, and all levels of leadership. Drive project-related change management activities. Identify opportunities to invent and simplify project components and solutions.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of HR experience.
- Proven leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic mindset with experience in data-driven decision-making.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred:
- HR certifications (SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, PHR/SPHR).
- Experience leading HR projects in manufacturing or similar industries.
