USN Surface Warfare Analyst

Harkcon, Inc. has need of a Surface Warfare Analyst to support a multi-year project with the U.S. Navy. You must be a former U.S. Navy Officer with prior Bridge Watchstanding experience.
Required Qualifications:

• Former Surface Warfare Officer (SWO), Limited Duty Officer (LDO) or Chief Warrant Officer (CWO) with a minimum of 10 years US Navy Active-duty experience
• Must have Combat Systems experience related to Aegis Combat and Weapons Systems or Ship Self Defense System (SSDS), and Shipboard Navigation Systems
• Must have experience on Surface Combatant Ships to include a deployment in support of battle group operations
• Must possess an Officer of the Deck (OOD) qualification
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited academic institution
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET security clearance (interim accepted)

Desired, but not required, Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in any of the following areas:
  • Complete a tour of duty on a CVN or Amphib Class Surface Ship
  • Completion of ship deployment in support of battle group operations
  • Test and Evaluation experience
  • Tactics development and evaluation
  • Tactical Action Officer (TAO) qualification
  • Navy Instructor/Master Training Specialist (MTS)
  • Specialty fleet systems qualifications

Work will be performed at a combination of locations: onsite at Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (Dahlgren, VA), and our teaming partner's office (Dahlgren, VA), and telework.
