Job Description

This position is an integral part of the general accounting group and Joint Venture reporting group and is responsible for:
  • Overseeing the Joint Venture reporting team to complete monthly Joint Venture financial
  • reports preparation and distribution.
  • Supervising the Joint Venture reporting team to record and remit management fees and Joint
  • Venture distributions to Hospital Partners.
  • Analyzing Joint Venture financials and distribute monthly and quarterly report packages to
  • Hospital Partners and various department leaders for several complex Joint Ventures
  • Communicating with Corporate and Hospital Partner personnel regarding the JV's monthly and
  • quarterly financial results.
  • Working closely with various members of the Company's senior management.
  • Working with various teams to reconcile ownership stats for each of our facilities, as
  • partnership transactions occur.
  • Preparing and posting monthly general accounting journal entries as part of the monthly close
  • process.
  • Reviewing monthly general accounting journal entries prepared by the team as part of the monthly close process.
  • Preparing and reviewing monthly accounts reconciliations.
  • Preparing the Company's monthly noncontrolling interest rollforward, goodwill and other
  • intangible assets analysis for management's review.
  • Preparing and collect support for external auditors.
  • Fulfill other duties, commensurate with experience, that support the Corporate Accounting team, working directly with various members of senior management of both the Company and Hospital Partners.

Required:
  • Bachelor degree in Accounting or relevant major.
  • 5+ years corporate and/or public accounting experience.
  • Advanced PC skills, specifically Microsoft Excel Pivot tables and macros.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and ability to work within tight deadlines.
  • High level of efficiency and accuracy.
