Key Areas of Responsibility:
We are seeking a multi-talented UI/UX Designer & Frontend Developer to join our team. In this role, you will combine your creative design skills with technical expertise to craft visually appealing and user-friendly web experiences. You will be responsible for the entire design process, from concept to implementation, ensuring that our website is both aesthetically pleasing and functional. Additionally, you will manage the technical aspects of the frontend, including CSS guidelines and UTM coding for accurate reporting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Frontend Development: Design and develop front-end functionality using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Ensure websites are responsive, fast, and work well across different browsers and devices.
- CMS Management: Build and maintain webpages using our content management system (CMS). Update web requests from our ticketing system promptly.
- UX/UI Design: Be the front line of UX/UI, creating user-friendly designs that align with our brand and meet accessibility standards.
- Web Assets Management: Responsible for all web assets, ensuring they are up-to-date and consistent across the website.
- Style & Brand Management: Ensure all web pages and digital assets align with the company's brand guidelines and maintain a consistent style across the site.
- Comp Prototyping: Develop and provide prototypes and comps using design tools to guide the development process and align with stakeholder expectations.
- Accessibility: Implement designs that meet web accessibility standards (WCAG) to ensure inclusive experiences for all users.
- Quality Assurance (QA): Conduct thorough QA testing to ensure all web pages and digital assets meet the required standards for performance, usability, and functionality.
- Customer Support: Provide support to fellow team members on website functionality and guide them on how to update content using the backend.
- HTML Email & Campaigns: Design and build HTML emails and digital campaigns that are visually appealing, responsive, and effective.
- A/B Testing: Conduct A/B testing to optimize website performance, user experience, and conversion rates.
- Vendor Collaboration: Provide support for third-party vendors in the design and implementation of headers and footers.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to ensure designs meet business goals. Use tools like Jira for project management.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skill Required:
- Proven Experience: Degree in design with 4+ years of experience in computer science or a related field, with demonstrated expertise in UI/UX design and front-end development.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CSS preprocessors (e.g., Sass, Less). Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular) is a plus. Proficient understanding of content management systems (Drupal experience a plus).
- Design Tools: Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD, with a strong portfolio displaying a range of design and development projects, including comp prototyping.
- Version Control: Experience with version control systems like Git.
- UX/UI Best Practices: Understanding of UX/UI best practices, including responsive and adaptive design principles to ensure web applications work seamlessly across various devices and screen sizes. Ability to provide usable comps in preferred design tools (e.g., Figma).
- Performance Optimization: Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques to ensure fast load times and efficient user experiences.
- Accessibility Standards: Familiarity with web accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices to ensure inclusive design for all users.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address technical challenges and optimize user experiences.
- Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience using collaboration and project management tools like Jira to manage tasks and communicate with team members.
