Validation Engineer - Sagemcom - Dallas, TX (Onsite) - ($120k/Yr)- Visa: Any Visa - URGENT - Full Time or TPC

Build system validation (QA) plan and test cases
Specify, configure and maintain the test network
Identify, configure and operate test tools (CDRouter, Spirent smartbit, Abacus, ACS, Veriwave, Chariot, iperf, ...)
Execute the test plan, report issue to the development team, verify fixes. Formalize test reports.
Build maturity metrics
Reproduce issues reported by our customers
Support the customers for any issues raised (local and remote investigation)
Analyze issues and identify root causes

Experience

Minimum 5/8+ years' experience in validation of network devices.
Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science. A master's degree is a plus.
Deep understanding of TCP/IP(v4, v6) networks and related protocols
Hands-on experience one or more of the following technologies :
o IP protocols: IPv4/IPv6, GRE, L2-L4 QoS, multicast, VPN
o WAN access: A/VDSL, DOCSIS, G/EPON, 10G-PON, 4G/LTE/5G
o Voice: SIP, MGCP/NCS, PacketCable
o LAN wireline: Ethernet, MoCA, G.hn, PLC
o LAN wireless: WiFi, Mesh, Zigbee, Bluetooth
o WiFi: 802.11, WFA standards
o Device management: TR069/TR181, SNMP
o Video: IPTV, Cable TV, STB/PVR, OTT, 4K/HVEC
