Job Title: Vascular Sonographer

License: State Imaging Licensure
Certifications:
- ARDMS credentials
- RVT
- BLS - must be AHA
Must-Have:
- Experience with GE E10 and S8/Fortis models
- Experience with Parks Flolab
Description:
Perform ultrasound exams per protocol, including carotid, venous insufficiency, ABI, ABI with exercise, arterial Duplex upper/lower, and upper/lower extremity venous.
Complete exam summary worksheet and provide preliminary reports as needed.
Clean and stock rooms and equipment.
Utilize ultrasound equipment: GE E10 and S8/Fortis models, Parks Flolab.
Document electronically using worksheets.
Use scheduling and patient chart systems.
Work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with one weekend a month on-call.
Call one weeknight per week.
Float to other locations as needed.
Will be the only vascular sonographer in one location, providing coverage for urgent care and clinic patients.
Complete HR orientation and a half-day of department-specific orientation reviewing policy and procedures.
New employees are paired with a sonographer for scanning competencies until signed off on exams.
Dress code is gray scrubs.
Comments:
Every third weekend on-call, some weeknights as needed.
Ensure reliability and ability to work independently while being flexible to float as required.
