Summary

The Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine is seeking exceptional candidates at the rank of Assistant Professor to serve in our Division of Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy.

Ideal candidates will have completed a certified residency program or advanced fellowship in Vascular Surgery. The Division has a robust clinical program that includes ten full-time faculty surgeons working across the Texas Medical Center and at Baylor-affiliated institutions including Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center, part of Common Spirit Health and the Texas Heart Institute, the Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Ben Taub Hospital, and Texas Children's Hospital.

The successful candidate should exhibit a commitment to clinical excellence, research, innovation, teaching, and collaborative practices. The successful candidate will have a particular interest and expertise in both open and endovascular surgery with clearly demonstrated skills in clinical patient care, education, and research. The candidate must qualify for medical licensure in Texas. Rank and tenure status are dependent upon qualifications.
