We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Administration and Planning to join Mellon Investments. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA. and is a hybrid working role.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Lead a wide array of activities associated with project planning and management to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget and to internal client specifications.
- Manages and oversees end-to-end project management activities such as project reporting and planning, issue/risk identification and tracking, scope management and relationship management for complex projects.
- Works with all required functions and groups to effectively plan and execute deliverables; Communicates clearly with internal management and key stakeholders
- Assists in developing detailed project plans and process maps
- Monitors and communicates progress on goals, risks, resources and result
- Prepares project reporting and status documentation, including issue/risk escalation, and provides feedback to Project Leads and senior leadership.
- Works with Mellon Index CEO and COO to implement strategic initiatives or establish best practices and processes.
- Serves as liaison between internal stakeholders to manage expectations and ensures project delivery.
- Contributes to the achievement of related teams' objectives.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- 7-10 years of experience in financial services or business partner function preferred; experience in the finance industry is a plus.
- Experience with executive reporting and strong PowerPoint skills is preferred.
- Experience with business and/or project management required.
- Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills; ability to influence senior stakeholders required.
