Job Summary

With the wealth management industry undergoing rapid digital transformation, younger financial advisors (Millennials and Gen Z) demand tech-first, flexible, and AI-powered solutions. Traditional wealth platforms have failed to address the customization, mobile-first experience, and embedded fintech integrations that modern advisors expect.

To bridge this gap, a WealthTech App Store was envisioned-an open marketplace where financial advisors can discover, integrate, and customize fintech solutions to enhance their practices.

The Vice President, App Store will be responsible for leading the strategy, development, and management of Advisor360's App Store, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for advisors, firms, and third-party developers. This role will drive the vision, execution, and continuous improvement of the platform, fostering an ecosystem of innovative financial applications. The VP will collaborate across product, engineering, partnerships, and marketing teams to expand the App Store's capabilities and adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the long-term vision and strategy for the Advisor360 App Store, aligning with the company's business goals.

• Platform Development: Oversee the design, development, and enhancement of the App Store, ensuring a user-friendly experience for financial professionals and seamless integrations with third-party applications.

• Partnership Management: Build and manage relationships with third-party developers, fintech partners, and enterprise clients to expand the App Store's offerings.

• User Experience & Adoption: Drive engagement and adoption through UX improvements, marketing strategies, and feedback-driven enhancements.

• Compliance & Security: Ensure that all applications and integrations meet regulatory, compliance, and security standards for the wealth management industry.

• Revenue & Growth: Develop and execute monetization strategies, including pricing models, partnership revenue sharing, and premium offerings.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams-including product management, engineering, marketing, and sales-to ensure the success of the App Store.

• Market Analysis: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to continuously innovate and improve the platform.

Qualifications

• Experience: 10+ years in product management, platform development, or technology leadership roles, preferably within fintech, wealth management, or SaaS industries.

• Leadership: Proven experience in leading high-performing teams and cross-functional collaboration.

• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, cloud-based platforms, and marketplace ecosystems.

• Business Acumen: Experience in developing go-to-market strategies, driving revenue growth, and managing P&L for digital platforms.

• Regulatory Awareness: Familiarity with financial industry compliance and security requirements.

• Communication Skills: Strong ability to influence stakeholders, present to executives, and engage with external partners.
