Responsibilities
- Define and execute the long-term application development strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices.
- Develop and maintain a robust application roadmap, prioritizing projects based on business value and impact.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and service lines to understand organizational needs and translate them into actionable technology solutions.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to guide decision-making and innovation.
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of custom and off-the-shelf applications to meet business requirements.
- Ensure the performance, scalability, security, and reliability of all enterprise applications.
- Lead the integration of applications across platforms and ensure seamless interoperability.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of high-quality applications that meet business needs and exceed customer expectations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing applications team, including developers, engineers and analysts.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Set clear performance goals and provide regular feedback and development opportunities.
- Develop and enforce policies, standards, and procedures for application development, deployment, and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, data privacy, and security standards.
- Manage budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships related to application development and support.
- Regularly evaluate application performance and user feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including business leaders, product managers, and IT operations teams.
- Communicate progress, challenges, and success metrics to executive stakeholders.
- Drive change management efforts and support user adoption for new or updated applications.
- Establish and maintain robust application performance monitoring and incident management processes.
- Ensure the security, availability, and reliability of all applications.
- Lead efforts to streamline processes, reduce costs, and maximize return on investment (ROI) in technology solutions.
- Implement strategies to modernize legacy systems and leverage emerging technologies.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in application development, management, and leadership roles.
- Proven experience with enterprise application platforms, cloud solutions, and system integration.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile and DevOps.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing large-scale application portfolios and budgets.
