Overview

We are seeking a data-driven account leader with CRM expertise for a VP, Client Partner role in our Birmingham, Michigan office. This is a hybrid position (onsite 3 days per week, with the option to work from home 2 days per week).

The Vice President, Client Partner is a key member of the agency's leadership team, responsible for strategically advancing client relationships and driving business growth. This individual is proactive, insights-driven, and excels at uncovering new opportunities to push clients' businesses forward.

In this role, you will align client goals to CRM and digital marketing strategies, adding strategic value, and lead teams in transforming data into actionable programs that increase clients' relationships with their customers by working at the intersection of Customer Engagement, Business, Technology, Big Data, and Content. You will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams and agency partners to ensure integration of CRM campaigns with other channels.

Viewed as a leader by both clients and their teams, you should be capable of selling, establishing, and autonomously growing new relationships. You will maintain a consultative growth mindset, continuously learning from your teams, clients, and the broader capabilities of the agency to connect the dots for optimal outcomes. You should have the ability to articulate complex ideas in clear, convincing narratives that are essential in guiding clients and internal teams toward success.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic CRM leadership to drive customer engagement and retention, with a deep understanding of the customer journey across Sales and Service, leveraging data-driven insights to optimize communications, loyalty, and lifecycle marketing.
  • Lead multi-track CRM engagements, understand the interplay between, and ensure we are driving an impact when it all rolls up to client results.
  • Work alongside the agency strategy team to direct lifecycle and loyalty program customer strategies and optimization.
  • Leverage knowledge of CRM best practices to make recommendations that will have the most impact to the client's business and drive innovation.
  • Lead cross-capability teams responsible for the customer engagement and messaging strategy, creative development, and execution of communications across multiple owned digital channels.
  • Drive collaboration across strategy, analytics, and technology execution teams on regular testing strategies, analyses, reporting, and optimization implementation.
  • As the business lead, work with cross-disciplinary teams and agency partners to drive integration of CRM initiatives with other digital channels.
  • Partner closely with Technology and Data teams to elevate roadmaps for marketing technology capabilities and data integration.
  • Evaluate and set priorities that work towards ultimate success for our clients and us.
  • Ensure our clients have a consistent experience with us when we have different teams operating in different parts of the organization.
  • Craft winning narratives within proposals, scope adds, or significant scope changes; proven ability to sell in new work we helped identify.
  • Articulate opportunity relevance/business growth signs to secure and maintain internal staffing consistencies across the team.
  • Accountable for verifying and monitoring MSA level terms to ensure on-going compliance.


Qualifications

  • 11+ years of work experience that includes driving growth for clients through CRM capabilities in a fast-paced digital agency. Automotive experience preferred.
  • Proven leadership in driving significant revenue growth with large, cross-functional teams and multiple client stakeholders.
  • Understanding of an omni-channel marketing ecosystem and customer-led marketing strategies.
  • Experience leading development of campaigns with addressable/owned channels such as, email, push, SMS, web, direct mail and integrating them with other channels in collaboration with cross-functional teams and agency partners.
  • Experience working with Marketing, Product, Data & Analytics teams along with leading MarTech platforms such as Salesforce, Adobe, Braze, Epsilon, etc.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and leverage knowledge of the CRM best practices to drive innovation across the business.
  • Proven ability to sell in new work we helped to identify that will drive organic growth.
  • Fosters an environment that promotes collaboration across disciplines, agency partners and clients to create growth moments.
  • Able to navigate complex client and agency organizations and cultivate relationships with senior level stakeholders.

Compensation Range: $146,490 - $200,400 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
