Overview
Job Summary: The VP of Sign Programs ensures effective execution of operational standards, including compliance with established company policies, procedures, customer expectations, and government regulations. They are also responsible for the overall financial performance of their assigned area which includes, but is not limited to: Revenue Targets, Gross Margin %, and direct SG&A expenses. Additionally, the VP utilizes strong communication and interpersonal skills to successfully engage with various user groups to coordinate and drive forward the day-to-day activities associated with each account plan while maintaining the overall strategic objectives, achieving project deadlines, and ensuring a positive customer experience. They will develop realistic action plans by making effective decisions based on data analysis, organizational observations, and cost controls.
Their leadership and guidance ensure excellence in customer service, operational and financial results. The person in this role must create a positive, ethical, and respectful work environment by promoting the company culture through its mission, vision, and core values.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of a team of Sign Programs Account Managers, Team Leads and Project Managers
- Drive customer programs to a successful completion by meeting or exceeding the customer and company goals
- Ensure client project risk and opportunity is identified, assessed, and managed appropriately
- Attend client meetings and report on overall health of their program
- Effectively measures operational performance and provides consistent communication of all challenges and needs to SVP
- Provide SVP with monthly revenue forecasting and actual account performance on a bi-weekly basis
- Meet or exceed account revenue and gross margin expectations
- Ensure that customer billings are completed quickly and accurately
- Manage staff costs within the division guidelines
- Create improvement action plans to address gaps through people, performance, and process improvements
- Recruit, hire, develop, and retain a high-performance team through training/education, coaching, expectation setting and accountability
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success to develop customer relationships, build customer presentations, act as escalation point, identify value add opportunities, and support AMs in growing account revenue and margin
- Deliver client business reviews on an ongoing basis
- Assess, act on, and improve overall employee engagement, reducing turnover
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform other tasks as reasonably assigned by supervisor
- Willingness to travel up to 25% to project sites, corporate offices, client meetings and sales events
- Attend various social functions with customers
- Adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands and deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events
- A regular physical presence in a main Stratus office or regular travel to a Stratus office is required

Education, experience, certifications
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Stratus account manager (AM), or equivalent industry experience
- Extensive sign industry knowledge required
- Proven experience in leading a team of project managers, and people leaders
- Proven ability to build accountability and develop employees
- College degree or technical education preferred
Physical and mental demands
- Position may require working before or after regularly scheduled hours as business needs arise.
