VP of Marketing

What You'll Be Responsible For:
  • Set overall vision, strategy, roadmap, plans and priorities to enable development and execution of Marketing success
  • Oversee our media, content marketing, SEO, influencers, CRM/lifecycle marketing, affiliate, and social media efforts
  • Elevate and strengthen the Scentbird brand across all user touchpoints
  • Own budgeting and forecasting of subscriber growth, work hand in hand with the CEO, CMO and Finance to drive business strategy and planning
  • Quarterback the relationships with external agencies, ensuring their ideas are implemented in a way that meets our standards and targets
  • Build, develop, and manage a high-performing marketing team
  • Develop an overall strategy that optimizes for overall subscriber journey while still achieving the discrete goals of each stage in the journey
  • Have a deep understanding of brand, positioning, consumer segmentation, CRM strategy, competitive landscape, and product portfolio
  • Oversee social media, lifecycle, community, content, and PR efforts

What You'll Need to Have:
  • 10+ years of experience in digital-first consumer marketing
  • A passion for brand storytelling with a data-driven approach to measurement and processes
  • You live and breathe the data, but understand the importance of developing a true relationship with the consumer
  • Strong team leader with the ability to attract, cultivate and retain top performers
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment, including quickly and accurately assessing opportunities to determine the best approach.
  • Strong leadership experience with a "no job is too small" mindset as we scale with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • The ability to balance customer-centric, bottom-line, and team-oriented marketing strategies
  • Experience leading marketing teams in a high-growth, e-commerce or subscription organization
  • You understand Pirate Metrics and are comfortable being responsible for acquisition and LTV metrics
