Position Summary:
As we continue to expand our reach and market presence, we are seeking a dynamic and highly experienced Vice President of Marketing to lead our marketing strategies and drive our brand's growth. This critical leadership position will lead the development and actively manage projects that align to the commercial strategies and tactics required to maximize the value of our innovative products. They are accountable for defining the overall strategy, coordinating the cross-functional team's brand-level operational plans to drive optimal outcomes for patients who can benefit from our innovative products.
The Vice President of Marketing will play a critical role in shaping and executing our marketing initiatives to achieve our business objectives. You will oversee all aspects of marketing, including brand management, market research, product launch strategies, promotional campaigns, and customer engagement. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans that align with our corporate goals, drive revenue growth, and enhance our market position.
You will be responsible for hiring and leading a diverse team with brand management skills and experience necessary to achieve the fullest potential of our product portfolio.
Principal Responsibilities:
Strategic medical affairs partnership and leadership: Operationalize the scientific platform for publication planning, conferences strategy, KOL development and translation to field force execution.
Develop and execute marketing strategies: Lead the development of strategic marketing brand strategy and tactics plans to drive brand awareness, market share, and revenue growth in alignment with company objectives and market trends.
Brand management: Oversee the development, positioning, and management of our portfolio, ensuring consistent messaging and brand equity across all channels and touchpoints. Work in conjunction with AOR to achieve brand performance and measure KPIs.
Market research and analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive intelligence, translating insights into actionable strategies.
Product launch strategies: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, KAMs, MSLs, FRSs and sales field force to develop and execute successful product launch strategies, including market segmentation, pricing, messaging, and promotional activities.
Marketing communications: Oversee the development of compelling marketing collateral, digital content, sales tools, and advertising campaigns to effectively reach target audiences and support sales efforts.
Forecasting and analysis: Oversee data collection and lead insight generation, customer segmentation, demand forecasting, competitive analysis, ROI analysis, market mix optimization and scenario planning.
Customer engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and patient advocacy groups to drive customer engagement and loyalty.
Team leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
Budget management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and optimizing return on investment.
Regulatory compliance: Ensure all marketing activities adhere to regulatory requirements and compliance guidelines in the pharmaceutical industry.
Education and Experience Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA preferred.
Proven track record of at least 15 years in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry with multiple successful brands launch experience with at least 10 years marketing experience.
Experience leading teams for a minimum of 10 years.
Experience launching product(s) in the diabetes category is preferred.
Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical market landscape, including regulatory considerations, market access, HUB and reimbursement dynamics.
Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable marketing plans.
Demonstrated success in developing and implementing innovative marketing strategies that drive revenue growth and market share.
Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of building and leading high-performing marketing teams.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and influencing skills to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders, external partners, and customers.

Traveling may be required (30% or more) for attendance of key customer events, field sales meetings and in territory assessment of sales force execution of marketing collateral.
Pay Range: $256,000 - $384,000 per year
