Vice President, Finance Are you a seasoned finance professional with a passion for driving strategic growth in the life sciences industry? Beaufort is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Finance to lead our financial strategy and operations. As a leading Contract Research Organization (CRO), we are dedicated to advancing the development of life-saving therapeutics and medical innovations.
Beaufort's Vice President of Finance is a member of the senior leadership team working closely with the President and other senior managers to ensure long-term business strategies are supported by effective financial strategies. In this key leadership role, you will manage our Finance team, oversee all financial activities involving the company's revenue cycle, including client invoicing, collections, revenue management, treasury, taxes, payroll and GAAP-based accounting and management reporting.

In this key leadership role, you will manage our Finance team, oversee all financial activities involving the company's revenue cycle, including client invoicing, collections, revenue management, treasury, taxes, payroll and GAAP-based accounting and management reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides strategic financial guidance and support to executive leadership.
- Develops and implements comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Manages Finance Team and external vendors.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Provides forecasting and financial models.
- Summarizes and translates complex operational data into actionable processes and plans.
- Champions financially related system implementations supporting automation, scalability, and process improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- CPA or CFA certification required
- 10+ years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles within the life sciences industry.
- An excellent understanding of financial systems and processes (NetSuite and OpenAir, highly desirable)
- Strong understanding of financial regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices, preferably within a dynamic business-to-business service setting.
- Demonstrated history of effective team management.
