Vice President of Finance

OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a strategic, detail-oriented Vice President of Finance (VP Finance) to provide financial leadership and operational oversight to support the President and ensure the organization's continued financial health. The Vice President of Finance (VP Finance) is a key senior management team member, overseeing all Encorp Atlantic's financial aspects. This role includes strategic financial planning, budgeting, financial reporting, compliance, and payroll management. The VP of Finance will ensure the organization's financial health and sustainability, aligning financial strategies with Encorp's mission and values.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide strategic financial leadership through budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and detailed financial reporting to the President and Board.
• Oversee internal controls, risk management, and compliance, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial operations.
• Manage key financial relationships, including contracts and RFPs, with external auditors, banks, insurers, and service providers.
• Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Support organizational strategy and sustainability goals by aligning financial practices with Encorp Atlantic's environmental mission and operational objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• A CPA designation is required.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience managing an accounting department.
• Demonstrated expertise in accounting software implementation and maintenance.
• Strong analytical and IT system understanding.
• Communication - Communicates clearly and effectively in both written and oral formats, in French and English.

WORKING CONSIDERATIONS:

This full-time, senior leadership role is on-site in Moncton, New Brunswick.
