WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Provide technical accounting guidance to the finance team on complex accounting issues and transactions
  • Lead the company`s financial reporting process, including the preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
  • In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting areas including debt offerings, purchase price accounting, equity compensation, foreign currency, hedging and financial instruments
  • Successfully partner with business unit leadership and advise on all accounting related matters on business transactions
  • Interface with external auditors regarding the application of generally accepted accounting principles on various transactions and matters
  • Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc management reporting including variance analysis, technical position memos, executive presentations, etc., ensuring appropriate documentation of accounting positions is in place and advise senior management on complex transactions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and strategic decision-making
  • Stay current on emerging accounting standards and regulatory changes to ensure compliance
BACKGROUND THAT FITS
  • Bachelor`s degree in Accounting; CPA required
  • 10 years of experience in technical accounting and financial reporting
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a focus on problem-solving
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and business
  • Experience working in both public accounting and private company environment preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
