The Vice President of Growth is responsible for driving and managing the overall growth strategy of the organization. This role focuses on identifying, developing, and implementing initiatives that foster revenue and transaction growth, enhance market presence, and ensure the long-term scalability of the company. The VP of Growth collaborates across all departments to align efforts with the company's strategic goals.
Essential Functions:
- Provide leadership in retail operations, marketing, procurement and wholesale functions
- Drive revenue and profit growth through execution of strategic initiatives
- Maximize the profitability of internally manufactured goods
- Work cross-functionally with compliance, manufacturing, retail, and sales to ensure alignment and regulatory adherence across campaigns
- Retail Operations:
- Provide executive support to the Senior Director of Retail Operations to ensure successful retail operations
- Oversee performance and profitability of all retail locations
- Drive customer engagement, operational excellence, and integration of all locations
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to drive growth initiatives
- Optimize e-commerce and in-store conversion funnels to increase lifetime value and repeat purchase rates
- Marketing:
- Identify and test new marketing channels including partnerships, events, and brand collaborations
- Lead corporate and retail marketing strategies to maximize impact and efficiency
- Implement customer acquisition and retention programs, with a focus on comprehensive loyalty initiatives
- Align marketing strategies with procurement operations to ensure cohesive promotional efforts
- Procurement & Wholesale:
- Oversee procurement and wholesales activities to optimize product assortment and supply chain efficiency while maximizing internally produced product revenue
- Enhance internal product margin through strategic sourcing and assortment selections
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Align Retail, Marketing, and Procurement teams to maximize business objectives
- Build systems and processes to sustain organizational success with minimal executive intervention
- Establish and track KPIs to measure the success of growth initiatives and ROI

- Ability to understand and complete all given directives in a timely manner

- Basic understanding of compliance software and job specific information technology
- Adherence to all industry standards set forth by Local, State, and Federal regulations

- Understanding of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives, and standard operating procedures
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, management, governmental agencies, community members and the general public
- Ability to use standard office equipment, computer equipment and software including word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications and electronic mail
Requirements
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
- Must pass all required background checks
- Must observe and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
Minimum Education and Experience:
- Degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field
- Previous retail business management experience preferred
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered, including internal experience.
Working Conditions:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, talking, hearing, seeing, standing, sitting, bending, twisting and repetitive motions.
- PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 20 pounds (100 pounds with assistance)
- Must be able to tolerate dusty, strong smelling marijuana odors, and be able to tolerate exposure to the product.
