Pyramid Global Hospitality is a fast-growing leader in hotel management and seeks a strong, experienced leader to grow along with our company, and to be a part of the culture that puts its people first!

We are currently searching for a remote based Vice President of Leisure Sales for our amazing (50+) INDEPENDENT hotel and resort properties.

The Vice President of Leisure Sales (VPLS) is a key member of the Commercial Team and functions as a key representative of our hotels and resorts. The VPLS drives Leisure Sales initiatives and ensures implementation of programs to drive growth for our hotels. The VPLS will work directly with key accounts focused on achieving leisure sales/revenue objectives within the wholesale (domestic & international), luxury consortia, credit card travel programs (e.g. Chase, Citibank, Amex FHR), travels advisors, and tour operator markets.

SCOPE / BUSINESS CONTEXT / CANDIDATE PROFILE

This leadership role has overall responsibility to create, identify, develop and implement sales opportunities and strategies for the leisure segments within the company and assigned hotels and resorts.

Overall, the VPLS is accountable for:
  • Maintain strong partnership and relationships with key accounts on behalf of the company.
  • Identify additional opportunities for growth.
  • Working closely with Revenue Management, Distribution, and Hotel Sales teams to drive production and achieve strategic objectives.
  • Represent the company, portfolio, and individual properties at industry events, tradeshows, roadshows, and on sales calls.
  • Work closely with individual hotel and resort sales leaders to identify opportunities and develop sound strategic account/action plans.
  • Serve as Subject Matter expert and provide training and support as needed.


Qualifications

  • Ten or more years of work experience in Sales with at least five years in the Hotel Leisure market demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance.
  • Must have experience in a multi-property Sales role with Independent full-service Hotels and Resorts. Familiar with remote and seasonal markets.
  • 20-40% travel anticipated.
  • Work in sales and marketing area and a member of an above property area or regional team is required.
  • The ideal candidate is a proactive, relationship-oriented sales professional with a well-rounded experience base.
  • Must be self-motivated, ambitious, and well organized.
  • Lodging/hospitality industry experience with a demonstrated ability to lead and manage large scale initiatives and associated change required.
  • The ideal candidate will live in the eastern half of the country.

Compensation Range

The compensation for this position is $165,000.00/Yr. - $185,000.00/Yr. based on qualifications and experience.
