Vice President of Managed Care

Job Summary:

The Vice President of Managed Care is responsible for securing managed care contracts across the Excelin enterprise. Act as liaison between company and all payor sources. Identify new contract sources.

Job Responsibilities:

Securing managed care contracts for all Excelin Home Health and Hospice locations.
2. Responsible for all contact and provider relations.
3. Negotiate the most advantageous rates for the organization
4. Maintain contact database for all locations allowing managers to have constant up to date information on available contracts
5. Improve managed care revenue
6. Collaboration with Intake and Authorization teams to all for a smooth admission process for managed care clients Annually review managed care contracts for possible rate increases
7. Collaborate with the sales team when new contracts are secured making sure that they are constantly updated Facilitate with ongoing relationships with managed care payors and the Exceling organization.

Ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel.

Ability to assist with marketing and deal tactfully with customers and the community.
