Job Description: VP of National Accounts, On & Off Premise
  • Drive immediate and effective results within the on and off premise national account universe for visibility programming, new item filing, advertising, and any other aspect of associated business.
  • Maintain and utilize a current and effective contact list for National Account leadership at both the customer and distributor level.
  • Develop relevant distributor relationships to maximize opportunities.
  • Work directly with HTDC national sales leadership, marketing and finance teams to drive success at the national, regional and local level.
  • Report detailed and strategic plans, results and forecasting to HTDC leadership on a monthly basis.
  • Leverage current and future marketing initiatives to develop targeted and effective brand-building programming across the country. Analyzes data and metrics to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Develop proposals and manage all relevant pricing activities and strategy as needed to protect and grow ROI for HTDC.
  • Maximize "home market" relationships to increase market share and brand recognition in Indiana, leading the way for growth across the country.
  • Drive new sales growth within the existing client base and ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service to our clients.
  • Develop short- and long-term operational strategies in partnership with senior team members and lead the design, development, and execution of those strategies to achieve measurable outcomes in a timely, cost-effective manner.
  • Partner with the business unit leaders and other key stakeholders to inspire change and implement new business processes.
  • Create program retention strategies and account strategies that increase both revenue and margin while ensuring that products and services consistently meet client needs.
  • Participate in brand promotions, tastings, events, regular market work and national blitz support. Report weekly results, market observations, and contacts. Maintain a calendar of market activities.
  • Embrace Hard Truth's "ONE TEAM" culture and leverage Hard truth resources to achieve goals.
  • Complete special projects when needed and as assigned.


Qualifications:
  • Graduate/MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of commercial experience within a beverage-alcohol company.
  • End-to-end commercial knowledge and end-to-end P&L experience
  • Direct on and off premise/customer experience preferred
  • Experience working across a diverse beverage alcohol distributor network preferred
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends. Must be able to travel including overnight stays both domestic and international. Must be able to lift and carry 40 pounds.
  • Distributor experience/management a plus
