Overview

The Vice President of Operations is responsible for overseeing the servicing of all Idaho Central Credit Union deposit and loan products as well as providing branch and Member Service Center back-office services.

Responsibilities

  • Provide management oversight of the Real Estate Loan Servicing Team. This includes escrow analysis, property taxes, flood insurance, homeowners and property insurance, investor reporting, balancing, file maintenance, reconveyance, etc. for mortgage and commercial loans.
  • Provide management oversight of the Consumer Loan Servicing Team. This includes credit reporting, title management, insurance tracking, ancillary insurance products, transaction posting, balancing, file maintenance etc.
  • Provide management oversight of the Deposit Services Team. This includes IRAs, ACH processing, wire transfers, mobile deposit, escheatment, check processing, cash ordering, supplies, etc.
  • Provide management oversight of the Card Services Team. This includes ATM servicing, balancing, and vendor management. Functions related to credit and debit cards include balancing, card servicing, dispute management, data analytics, portfolio profitability and fraud strategies, mitigation, and incident management etc.
  • Provide management oversight of the Dispute Resolution Team. This includes dispute handling and error resolution for applicable payment channels, ACH, debit and credit card, ATM, Zelle etc.
  • Provide management oversight of the Credit Reporting Services Team. This includes furnishing and dispute responsibilities.
  • Provide management oversight of the Operations Support Team: This includes mail room operations, ordering and distributing supplies for the entire organization, loan payoff processing, imaging of documents, reception desk management, etc.
  • Oversee vendor management for team's critical vendors, prioritizing relationships and driving accountability of credit union expectations.
  • Analyze business needs and develop efficient processes to support Idaho Central Credit Union's growth.
  • Understand all applicable regulations related to products, processes and systems serviced by the above-mentioned teams and ensure compliance.
  • Coach teams to reach goals and objectives of the department and Credit Union.
  • Work to continuously improve each team's service level to members and team members.
  • Effectively initiate and complete strategic level projects.
  • Additional duties as assigned


Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred with 3+ years of operations experience in a financial institution. Ability to work with other managers to reach goals. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Capable of always maintaining the confidentiality of Credit Union and member records.

Manage Real Estate Loan Servicing, Consumer Loan Servicing, Deposit Services, Card Services, Dispute Resolution, Credit Reporting Services, and Operations Support, ensuring a positive environment. A demonstrated cooperative and positive attitude toward members and other Credit Union Staff. Dedicated to serving our internal members and holding teams accountable for the Credit Union's service standard. Professional in appearance, attendance, quality, and quantity of work performance. Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by Idaho Central Credit Union.

Physical Requirements:
  • Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, counting cash, etc.).
  • Sit for extended periods of time.
  • Lift 20-40 pounds of applicable supplies including but not limited to copy paper, cash drawers, marketing material, etc.
  • Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, and fingers.
  • Reach keyboards.
  • Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator, computer, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, etc.).
