About the Role

illi is seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Property Management to lead our property management division. This individual will oversee department operations, drive team performance, ensure service excellence, and contribute to strategic planning and execution. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and operational leader who understands how to build high-performing teams while aligning property management services with company goals and client expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the property management team and serve on the senior management team
  • Develop and implement operational strategies and performance standards
  • Guide department structure and staffing to meet evolving business needs
  • Partner with HR on recruiting, coaching, and performance management
  • Support Property Supervisors in vendor coordination, budget review, and tenant relations
  • Review and approve annual property budgets and major disbursements
  • Monitor compliance with lease terms, property regulations, and company policies
  • Maintain client relationships and lead communication on escalated matters
  • Oversee onboarding of new properties and transitions in coordination with other departments
  • Support marketing efforts for service presentations and new business opportunities
  • Foster collaboration, professional growth, and team culture across the department

Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of commercial property management experience
  • California Real Estate License required
  • Prior experience managing multi-site teams and operational functions
  • Strong understanding of NNN leases, property regulations, and financial reporting
  • Skilled in coaching, performance management, and team leadership
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Bachelor's degree prefer
