Description

Collaborating closely with the CEO, the Vice President (VP) of Industrial Sales plays a pivotal role in shaping the company's broader strategy and overseeing the execution of complex customer engagements. This role is instrumental in driving strategic partnerships across industrial sectors including but not limited to construction, infrastructure, heavy lifting equipment operations, and logistics.

In addition to managing the full customer lifecycle from opportunity to closure, the VP leads the development of a high-performing sales organization. The ideal candidate combines a strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to business development and team leadership, ensuring operational alignment and sustainable revenue growth across global industrial markets.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the global growth strategy for the Industrial Division, ensuring alignment with company goals and evolving industry demands.
  • Partner with executive leadership to integrate the industrial business unit into the broader organizational strategy.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, identifying and developing opportunities with industrial clients, general contractors, and government entities.
  • Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract negotiation and closure, ensuring high standards of professionalism and responsiveness.
  • Identify and cultivate strategic relationships with industry partners, distributors, and service providers to expand market reach and capability.
  • Negotiate high-impact partnerships and long-term agreements that strengthen the company's position within key industrial verticals.
  • Hire, mentor, and lead a performance-driven sales team, equipping them with tools, coaching, and sales methodologies to meet and exceed KPIs.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement through data-driven performance tracking, professional development, and sales process optimization.
  • Conduct regular market research and analysis to stay ahead of industrial trends, regulatory changes, and customer demands.
  • Translate market intelligence into actionable strategies and tactical plans for the sales organization and executive team.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to provide content input for go-to-market activities and strategies.
  • Partner with Operations to align product forecasts and build timelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Travel 30-40% both domestic and international

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises employees in the Industrial Sales division. Carries out Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, selecting, hiring, and training employees, planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems. For Exempt Managers: Managers that carry out these responsibilities for two or more employees will have significant input in hiring and termination decisions.

Requirements

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) from four-year college or university and 10+ years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in senior sales roles within the Industrial manufacturing industries.
  • 10 years' related experience and/or training in Industrial equipment or tech sales.
  • 4-6 years' related experience and/or training in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software; Salesforce Preferred.
  • Successfully built, scaled, and led high performing sales teams.
  • Strong experience with business development and prospecting and managing senior level relationships.

Compensation

In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the compensation for this role is $150,000 - $250,000 per year, however, Vita Inclinata Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
