After valuable insights during our initial search, we've refined the scope of this role to align more closely with the leadership qualities and in-market presence we need to scale effectively. We're now reopening the search with updated priorities, including a requirement for relocation to Seattle.

Our diverse family of exceptional CPG food brands spans multiple categories, including specialty cheese, frozen dishes, and individual snacking. We are continually expanding our portfolio with differentiated offerings to strengthen our house of brands and venture into new markets.

The Vice President of Sales will spearhead the development of new business relationships within our retail grocery and foodservice channels, while also nurturing the growing of our existing customer base. This role will involve leading the Beecher's sales team, focusing on selling and expanding our CPG grocery food line.

Responsibilities:
  • Build, lead, and mentor a team of talented sales professionals.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies across grocery, club, convenience, food service, and online channels.
  • Hit and exceed annual revenue targets, margin goals, and KPI benchmarks.
  • Establish senior level contacts with current and potential customers. Win and manage new customers of strategic importance.
  • Partner with leadership to forecast and manage trade spend, sales targets, and market expansion plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create robust launch plans for new products.
  • Work with the Marketing team to develop and execute promotional programs.
  • Represent Beecher's at industry trade shows events.


Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of sales experience, including a background in sales leadership in a food related consumer-packaged goods (CPG) environment.
  • Proven track record in building teams and scaling revenue.
  • Selling premium or specialty products.
  • Data-savvy with strong analytical and planning capabilities.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
  • Excellent communicator and strategic thinker.
  • Willing and excited to relocate to Seattle.
  • Comfortable with extensive travel and a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.


Compensation:
The starting salary range for this position is between $250,000 - $300,000 per year, plus an annual bonus plan. Actual compensation will be determined by skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
