Position Overview:
We are seeking a Vice President of Solution Architecture to build and lead our solution architecture team. This is a core leadership role that will report directly into the CEO, requiring a dynamic leader with a strong background in sales engineering, customer engagement, and most importantly, enterprise infrastructure architecture - particularly virtualization and containerization solutions. As our primary technical liaison for major partners and enterprise customers, the VP of Solution Architecture will be responsible for ideating, designing, and implementing innovative solutions leveraging the ReadyWorks platform.
In alignment with ReadyWorks' long-term roadmap, this role will play a pivotal part in shaping the evolution of our solutions to be fully AI-driven. The VP of Solution Architecture will be a key stakeholder in defining and influencing how AI powers our platform, ensuring that use cases, solution designs, and technical implementations evolve toward an AI-first approach.
This individual will lead a team of solution architects and engineers, ensuring alignment with customer objectives, fostering technical innovation, and driving cross-functional collaboration. Additionally, the VP will play a key role in developing and reviewing technical whitepapers, case studies, and marketing collateral to support our go-to-market strategy.

Qualifications & Experience:
- 15+ years of experience in enterprise sales engineering, solution architecture, or technical leadership roles.
- 2+ years of experience with VMware solutions
- Proven track record of leading high-performing technical teams within enterprise technology companies.
- Deep technical expertise in IT infrastructure, cloud computing, software-defined data centers, virtualization, and automation platforms.
- Experience working with AI-driven automation solutions or strong enthusiasm for leading AI-powered transformations.
- Strong background in large-scale enterprise sales , deal structuring, and executive-level customer engagement.
- Exceptional leadership skills , with experience managing and mentoring geographically distributed teams.
- Excellent communication skills , with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for executive audiences.
- Experience working with partners, system integrators, and large enterprise customers across multiple verticals
- Experience with any of the following technologies is a plus: Nutanix, SUSE, OpenShift, Hyper-V, HPE VM, KubeVirt, KVM.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of solution architects and engineers.
- Establish and scale the Solution Architecture function, ensuring alignment with enterprise customers' needs and ReadyWorks' strategic goals.
- Foster a customer-centric culture that prioritizes collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence.
- Drive the transition of ReadyWorks' solutions toward full AI-driven automation, ensuring solution architecture remains aligned with this vision.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Product Management, Marketing, and Engineering to ensure seamless execution of solution strategies.
Technical Liaison & Customer Engagement
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for major partners and enterprise customers, ensuring deep technical engagement and relationship-building at the CxO level.
- Drive consultative pre-sales discussions, designing innovative solutions that align with customer needs and business objectives.
- Lead large-scale enterprise solution implementations, ensuring successful deployments and measurable business outcomes.
- Facilitate executive briefings, technical workshops, and innovation sessions to drive customer engagement.
Solution Design & AI Integration
- Architect scalable, enterprise-ready solutions that leverage the ReadyWorks platform to automate and optimize IT transformations.
- Assist in envisioning and architecting the next iteration of one of our major products, Ascend, which automates enterprise migrations off VMWare to alternative hypervisors, HCI, or containerization solutions.
- Partner with the AI development team to ensure that AI-driven automation is embedded into our solution designs, aligning technical architecture with ReadyWorks' AI-first vision.
- Lead the technical design and customization of the platform, ensuring seamless integration with customers' existing IT ecosystems.
- Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to influence the product roadmap based on customer and partner feedback.
- Develop and refine best practices, frameworks, and methodologies for AI-driven solution delivery.
Thought Leadership & Market Influence
- Author and review technical whitepapers, case studies, and industry reports to showcase ReadyWorks' thought leadership in AI-driven IT transformation.
- Represent ReadyWorks at industry events, conferences, and partner engagements as a technical evangelist.
- Develop enablement content to support the sales and marketing teams in articulating the value of ReadyWorks to prospects and partners.
- Participate in analyst inquiry sessions and vendor briefings
