Description:
The Vice President of Training will be responsible for the strategic direction, development, and implementation of comprehensive training programs in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and other Risk and Compliance departments at PROtect. This leader will oversee all training initiatives, ensure compliance with industry standards, and integrate modern learning methodologies, including hybrid and online platforms. The Vice President of Training will provide leadership to training instructors, drive innovation in training methods, and ensure continuous improvement in training effectiveness to meet both organizational and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Training Development & Delivery:
- Develop and implement NDT training programs, outlines, and content tailored to industry standards (ASNT, NAS 410, etc.).
- Design training materials, including presentations, manuals, and e-learning modules, to ensure effective knowledge transfer.
- Deliver in-person, hybrid, and online training sessions for NDT personnel at various levels.
- Ensure training content is current with the latest NDT technologies, techniques, and best practices.
- Establish and maintain a structured training curriculum for all NDT methods offered within the organization.
- Spearhead initiatives to enhance training delivery through innovative methodologies and technologies.
Leadership & Oversight:
- Lead and mentor other NDT instructors, ensuring quality and consistency in training delivery.
- Evaluate instructor performance and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with department heads to align training with operational needs.
- Develop strategies for improving training effectiveness and learner engagement.
Technology & Program Advancement:
- Transition existing training programs to hybrid and online platforms for accessibility and efficiency.
- Leverage digital tools, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and virtual training solutions to modernize instructional delivery.
- Research and implement innovative training techniques, including simulations and interactive modules.
- Ensure all training materials meet industry regulations and company quality standards.
Compliance & Certification:
- Maintain compliance with industry standards (ASNT, API, NAS 410, etc.) and ensure training programs align with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct certification exams and evaluations for NDT personnel.
- Maintain records of training, certifications, and qualifications of employees.
- Serve as the subject matter expert in NDT training and certification.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Material Science, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in NDT, with at least 3 years in a training or supervisory role.
- NDT Level III certification in at least one or more methods (RT, UT, MT, PT, ET, etc.) is required.
- Experience in developing and delivering training programs, both in-person and online.
- Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning tools is a plus.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in classroom, laboratory, and field environments.
- Some travel may be required to provide training at different company locations.
- Must be able to lift training materials and equipment as necessary.
