Position Summary:
Provide leadership of all Retail sales and Marketing activities through the management of marketing team, retail sales team and brokers. Responsible for sales volume and profit objectives of the business along with strategic and tactical marketing initiatives that grow brand awareness and sales volume. Develops and implements strategies and tactics for the successful attainment of Company objectives.

Position Summary:

Develops and implements strategies and tactics for the successful attainment of Company objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direction and leadership to Retail sales team.
- Oversee and direct Retail marketing plan and execute through Marketing team.
- Recommend new products and innovative ideas.
- Establish Retail budgets and sales planning process.
- Manage and administer incentive programs.
- Monitor trade programs and manage travel and expense budgets.
- Develop national account sales strategies.
- Participate in the development of pricing strategies.
- Make recommendations concerning improvements to policies, procedures, techniques, facilities, and any other matters relative to enhancing the effectiveness of the department or Company.
- 50-75% travel required.
- Accept special projects and completes them promptly.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field; MBA preferred.
- 10 years of Sales and Marketing leadership experience; previous experience in the meat or perishable food industry preferred.
- Stong financial background demonstrating responsibility for P&L.
- Must possess excellent negotiation, leadership, oral and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office.
- Experience with an ERP system and experience analyzing IRI/Nielsen data.
