Your role
Vice President - UBS Securities LLC - New York, NY:
Assist in the origination and execution of corporate finance and M&A transactions for domestic and foreign, and public and private clients in the Healthcare industry.
Support senior coverage and product bankers with research, pitchbooks and financial analyses for the M&A and Healthcare industries.
Stay updated with recent transactions, events, and trends surrounding the investment banking industry (including M&A and Healthcare sectors) that cover current and prospective clients.
Evaluate risk factors and negotiate transactions on clients' behalf.
Manage and execute tasks encompassing valuation, accounting, and other technical issues regarding M&A transactions.
Oversee comprehensive financial and mathematical modeling and analysis.
Prepare investment recommendations from due diligence of financial statements and other public filings.
Monitor teams of associates and analysts in the provision of advisory services to clients.
Teach and mentor junior team members.
Apply knowledge of investment banking (M&A) deal execution and structuring; development of operational and financial models and deal marketing materials; corporate finance; financial accounting and capital structure; valuation methodologies using precedent comparable transactions, public companies relative valuation, discounted cash flow models, and leveraged buyout analysis; structured finance products; and, fixed income and equity markets.

Your expertise
Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field of study, plus three (3) years of experience with investment banking (M&A) deal execution and structuring; development of operational and financial models and deal marketing materials; corporate finance; financial accounting and capital structure; valuation methodologies using precedent comparable transactions, public companies relative valuation, discounted cash flow models, and leveraged buyout analysis; structured finance products; fixed income and equity markets; and/or, financial analysis.
FINRA SIE and Series 79TO licenses required.
The salary range is $190,000 - $275,000 annually, based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, education, location, & skill level.
