AET is seeking an experienced Video Teleconferencing Engineer to support the Department of Energy. As a Video Teleconferencing Engineer, you will be working on complex projects providing technical, operational, and administrative management on efforts and programs.

Job Duties include:
- Responsible for the design and development of Unified Communications and Video Conferencing systems.
- Responsible for the configuration, and maintenance of worldwide Voice and Video Conferencing System
- Responsible for the installation of operating system and security patches.
- Responsible for assessing the applicability of vulnerabilities and maintain security compliance of the Voice and Video Conferencing System.
- Provide support for customer scheduled and unplanned outages, regardless of scale and impact.
- Serve as the point of escalation support for Tier 1 and Tier 2 technicians across all communication platforms.
- Develop and update technical documentation plan controls and risk assessment.
- Plans and configures systems for user environments.
- Supports the acquisition of hardware and software as well as subcontractor services as needed.
- Submit Change Control Proposals (CCP) for the CAB (Change Approval Board)/
Requirements:
- Be able to commute On-Site to work site (based out in Washington D.C.) *no remote work
- Overall obtain 10 years of related experience or Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
- Unified Communications Design Specialist Certificate
- Obtain IAT II 8570 Certification (Security+ CE)
- Prior experience (7-10 years) particularly in Voice and Video Engineering, Infrastructure:
- CISCO Unity Connection
- VCS
- Design, Maintenance, Support, Deployment, Implementation, Systems Engineering
- Advanced knowledge in Cisco Unified Communications Systems
- QoS Quality of Service
- Streaming Video
- Tandberg and Cisco Video devices
- Crestron and Codex VTC units
- Strong background with Cisco Meeting Servers, VQ Conference Manager, and/ or MS Skype for Business
- Be able to travel 25-50%
