VMWare Administrator

KCG is seeking a VMWare Administrator to join our team.

Responsibilities

Related activities to include, but not limited to:

• Design, deploy, and configure VMware vSphere servers
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize VMware infrastructure performance
• Manage VMware vCenter Server, including resource allocation, and performance tuning
• Plan and execute VMware ESXi host upgrades, patches, and security enhancements
• Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate VMware infrastructure with storage, network, and other systems
• Develop and maintain documentation for VMware infrastructure configurations, procedures, and best practices
• Provide technical support and assistance to end-users and other IT teams as needed"

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in managing VMware vSphere environment
• Proficiency in VMware vSphere, vCenter Server, and ESXi administration
• Strong understanding and experience with virtualization concepts, technologies, and best practices
• Experience with storage, networking, and server hardware technologies
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Preferred: VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification
• Active Secret security clearance
