About the Role:

As the Vice President of Finance and Treasurer, you will oversee financial planning and analysis (FP&A), treasury management, and capital-raising initiatives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role requires deep financial expertise, strong leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate closely with Investor Relations and senior leadership including the CEO & CFO. You will play a critical role in developing financial strategies, optimizing capital structures, and building a high-performing finance team to support Grocery Outlet's overall company business objectives. The Vice President of Finance and Treasurer will report to the EVP, Chief Financial Officer.

Responsibilities Include:

• Financial Strategy & Planning: Lead financial planning and analysis, including annual and long-term financial plans, to drive business performance and scalability. Develop and communicate the FP&A team's strategic direction, including areas of innovation to better support the business.
• Process Development & Optimization: Establish and refine financial processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and strategic decision-making.
• Executive & Board Reporting: Oversee the preparation of financial reports and presentations for senior executive leadership and the Board of Directors.
• Capital Planning & Fundraising: Develop and execute strategies for debt and equity financing, ensuring optimal capital allocation.
• Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain robust, digestible financial models and analysis to influence short- and long-term strategic decision-making for key stakeholders across the organization.
• Treasury Management: Oversee cash flow management, investment strategies, and debt financing to support financial health and growth.
• Investor Relations Collaboration: Work closely with Investor Relations to develop financial messaging, support investor communications, and participate in IR activities.
• Team Development & Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

About The Pay:

• Base Salary Range: $225,000 - $260,000 Annually

• Final compensation will be determined based upon experience and skills and may vary based on location.

About You:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, or a related field
• MBA or advanced degree preferred
• CPA or CFA certification preferred
• 10+ years' experience in a senior finance leadership role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
• Thrive in a fast-paced start up like environment
• Deep financial expertise, including FP&A, treasury management, and capital markets experience
• Highly detail oriented with a strong analytical mindset
• Experience collaborating with Investor Relations and supporting financial communications
• Proven ability to develop and scale financial teams, processes, and systems
• Excellent strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
