The Vice President (VP) will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Beacon Medical Group, driving strategic initiatives, and overseeing daily operations. This position ensures alignment with the mission and values of Beacon Health System while championing clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, operational efficiency, and provider engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Operations:
- Collaborate with the President to develop and implement both short- and long-term strategic plans, including population health initiatives, provider growth, and facility planning.
- Provide high-level administrative oversight for daily operations, including quality improvement, patient access, financial performance, and service excellence.
- Lead operational improvements, ensuring accountability, efficiency, and alignment with organizational goals.
- Oversee key areas such as Patient Access, Quality, Managed Care, Marketing, HR, Telehealth, and Performance Improvement.
- Act as a liaison and support system for operations in the absence of the President.
Financial Stewardship:
- Drive financial sustainability by managing budgets, reviewing cost/revenue projections, and overseeing capital expenditures.
- Partner with department leaders to optimize resource allocation, cost-effectiveness, and operational processes.
Growth & Integration:
- Lead practice acquisition efforts, ensuring seamless integration and execution of new services.
- Support initiatives to expand service lines, improve patient access, and enhance scheduling and referrals across specialties.
Clinical Excellence & Quality:
- Collaborate with medical directors to implement quality programs, pay-for-performance efforts, and achieve organizational benchmarks.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accrediting regulations.
Culture & Engagement:
- Foster a consumer-friendly, patient-centered culture that prioritizes accessibility and quality care.
- Promote talent development and align team skillsets to achieve organizational goals.
- Drive engagement among physicians, associates, and patients through innovative practices and effective communication.
Community Representation:
- Act as a public ambassador for BMG, maintaining professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including hospital administration, physicians, and community partners.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required.
- Master's degree in Hospital Administration, Business Administration, or a relevant specialty strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations hospital administration, or a related specialty.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and strategic planning abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proficiency in public speaking and presenting to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to drive results, manage complex projects, and lead cross-functional teams.
- Expertise in financial management, operational efficiency, and quality improvement.
- Commitment to fostering innovation, collaboration, and accountability across teams.
Working Conditions:
- Office environment with travel to other locations.
