The Role

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the VP, Finance & Accounting will work closely with the Leadership Team to implement and execute our strategy and vision.

Roles and responsibilities:
  • Leadership, management and accountability for finance and accounting team
  • Financing and debt management
  • Legal oversight including corporate structure and investor reporting
  • Insurance
  • Long term cash forecast
  • Systems and processes in finance and accounting

What does success look like?
  • Lead a highly engaged team that loves where they work.
  • Have the simplest, most efficient and effective processes that make us easy to work with.
  • Deliver financials and budget reviews on agreed schedule every month.
  • Estimates should be approximately right, not precisely wrong and numbers that need to be 100% accurate, always are.
  • A deep understanding of the business, with the ability to know, at a glance, if financial information makes sense.
  • Understand market values in all our markets.
  • Provide insight on financial information to the Leadership Team.

Qualifications & Competencies:
  • CPA designation.
  • At least 10 years of experience in accounting or finance, including a minimum of five years in a management role.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strategic mindset, with the ability to think innovatively and drive positive change.
  • Ability to see risks and opportunities behind financial data and act as a strategic business partner.
