THE OPPORTUNITY
The Vice President, Flood/Insurance Manager, will play a critical leadership role in managing and overseeing all aspects of our flood and insurance operations. This position requires extensive knowledge of flood and insurance policies, risk management, and regulatory compliance. This position is responsible for managing the flood and insurance team and assuring consistent workflow in a professional, timely manner. Provide leadership and training to the team and adhere to all bank policies and procedures. Communicates with bank department managers, lenders and assistants, legal, and compliance departments to promote efficient and correct work flow and establish positive working relationships across the organization. The position will be responsible for developing strategic initiatives in areas of flood and insurance. Work in conjunction with Relationship Managers, Loan Servicing/Bording, Loan Administration and Loan Documentation. Performs all duties in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the Company operates. SALARY RANGE
The full-time base salary range for this position is $ 85,000.00 - 135,000.00 USD a year. The base salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
- Leadership and Strategy: Develop and implement strategic plans for the flood insurance division, aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Policy Development: Oversee the creation and maintenance of comprehensive flood and insurance policies and procedures.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential flood hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all flood insurance operations comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on flood and insurance operations and performance to all levels of management.
- Manage and oversee daily functions within Flood and Insurance Team
- Act as liaison with internal and external audits.
- Ensure lending staff is provided with updates and procedural changes.
- Successfully interact and manage staff to improve accuracies and efficiencies.
- Assist with HR changes and approve department timesheets.
- Work directly with the banks' lending units to resolve any flood and insurance related issues.
- Maintains the highest level of confidentiality with all information obtained.
- Involved with interviewing and hiring decisions.
- Prepare and deliver employee performance evaluations, goal planning, and counseling.
- Manage, support, coach and train staff.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients (internally and externally), providing expert advice and support on flood and insurance matters

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- In-depth understanding of flood and insurance policies, risk management, and regulatory requirements. for commercial and consumer loans.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Detailed knowledge of lending products and documentation, including residential, commercial and consumer loans
- Excellent decision-making, problem solving and ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment
- Excellent organization, team building and communications skills
- Bachelor's Degree and/or relevant work experience or training
Required:
- 8+ years' banking experience
- 5+ years of supervisory and leadership experience and relevant loan operations management experience
Preferred:
- Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook. Good working knowledge of IBS loan system
