VP, Food & Beverage Programming & Execution will be responsible for establishing the Remington Hotels food and beverage identity. This position will manage the development and implementation of profitable food and beverage concepts and programs, or identifying appropriate 3rd party partners and solutions, across the Remington Hotels portfolio of hotels.

  • The individual in this role is expected to combine past experience and knowledge of prevailing industry trends to work with key stakeholders across the company to develop concepts and programs and manage the delivery and profitable execution thereof.
  • The ideal candidate is an organized leader, has extensive hospitality industry experience, strong business acumen, operations experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, can adapt to shifting priorities, and is comfortable working within a fast pace and dynamic environment. This position requires a steadfast execution mindset strong collaboration skills and the ability to excel in a demanding environment, while maintaining a composed, professional demeanor.
  • A high degree of ownership, initiative, interaction and teamwork is required to be effective in the role. Job Description Strategy/Planning Work with stakeholders across the organization to develop food and beverage programming and strategies to create RH identity in this space, including the development of signature F&B cocktails and dishes.
  • Competitive Intelligence: conduct industry research to identify and communicate internally the service and program offerings of industry leaders and competitive set hotels. Identify and investigate all outlets throughout the portfolio and develop activation/optimization plans for the space(s).
  • Work with SVP F&B to establish brand building F&B partnerships with key vendors and industry participants. Establish relationships with 3rd party operators with whom RH will want to work in applicable situations.
  • Develop systems and processes to manage outlet performance across the RH portfolio of hotels.
  • Responsible for working with executive leadership to ensure programs are in line with communicated strategies.
  • Operational/Functional Review historical operating results for all RH controlled outlets and identify areas of opportunity. Conduct complete menu audit and create "best practices" documentation for revenue optimization and cost controls.
  • Develop food and beverage labor optimization plan.
  • Create or revise SOPs for each RH managed outlet as applicable. Create and maintain status reports for all active initiatives. Manage, mitigate, and escalate risks and critical items to appropriate parties and stakeholders. Organizational Management & Development Assist with attracting, retaining, and motivating talent.
  • Ensure team members receive proper training applicable to their position and career aspirations and in accordance with company policy and/or local laws
  • Responsible for monitoring, measuring, and recognizing performance of team members who directly report to the role and indirect reports

  • Bachelor's Degree MBA preferred 15 years of demonstrated hospitality management and concept development experience.
  • Well-developed and effective team facilitation and leadership skills; able to establish cooperative and accountable team environment
  • Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and prioritization
  • Strong facilitation and interpersonal skills; self-starter, positive, high energy; demonstrated ability to work effectively with senior management, peers and entry-level employees; ability to work cross-functionally to support meeting and exceeding customer expectations
  • Ability to drive a sense of purpose to the team and lead team towards a common goal; ability to act as a positive role model to peers and team members
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and able to manage priorities well
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. This includes excellent listening skills, concise communications and targeting the message to specific audiences
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suites of products, (Visio, OneNote, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
